About us:
Brandmaier Informative Leuchtanzeigen is a family-run company with over 30 years of experience in the development and production of electronic display systems and LED lighting solutions. At our location in Horb am Neckar, we create customized "Made in Germany" solutions for a wide range of applications.
Your responsibilities:
- You develop and maintain software for LED display systems and controllers
- You implement display logic, communication workflows, and control functions
- You integrate interfaces and protocols and reliably analyze data
- You test, commission software, and analyze errors in interaction with the hardware
- You optimize existing applications for stability, performance, and maintainability
- You work closely with hardware development, product design, and production
- You provide support for prototypes, customer-specific adjustments, and the transition to series production
- You document software, interfaces, and key decisions in a way that allows the team to continue working with them
What you bring to the table:
- You have a degree, vocational training, or a comparable qualification in computer science, software development, electrical engineering, or a similar field
- You have experience in software development, ideally in the field of embedded systems, controllers, or display systems
- You are familiar with common programming languages; C, C++, and Python are particularly helpful
- You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner
- You have a good technical understanding of the interaction between software and hardware
- You communicate clearly and enjoy working in a team
- You value quality and take responsibility for your results
